The concept is based upon my many years of experience and knowledge of cats and their behaviors. Cats undergo considerable stress when placed in a typical "boarding" situation - frequently a confined space without windows or even much room to move about, stretch and exercise like they would do at home. Change is difficult for cats. When suddenly left alone in a strange, new "jail-like" environment with little stimulation and unfamiliarity of the people caring for them, it is understandable that it, more often than not, invokes depression, isolation, and even fear in a cat.
That's why I come to your kitty's home to provide loving care and attention to your cat when in your absence. I take the time to get to know your cat and sometimes, when cats are shy or skittish, I respect that and allow them their space. Anyone who knows cats knows that "they decide", not you!
Being pet first aid certified and having had years of experience with medicating and working with special needs cats, often caring for them post surgery, I can provide care for kitties from all walks of life. Having fostered and rescued cats for a number of years, I am familiar with the needs of active kittens, elderly more docile cats, to lap cats who need a tonne of cuddles, and feral cats who need to be given their space, but still cared for in every way.
Whatever your cat's needs, I am there to provide tender loving care, affection and safety for your special feline family members when you need to be away from them.

DAILY VISIT RATES
$40 - 1 VISIT/DAY
$80 - 2 VISITS/DAY
My visits can include medications, special needs, plant watering, recycle/garbage, home and mail check, and always, of course, email/text updates.
KITTY TAXI
For a small fee, I am happy to accommodate your cats to their vet, grooming, or other appointments that require safe travel. Just a little notice is nice.

Purrrrr....I have a happy tale to tell you... Happy Tails Cat Sitting knocked the socks off my paws! When my loving lady, Angela, had to leave for a week, I thought I would be one sad and lonely kitty without her. Even worse, I thought I would have to go to some strange place and wait endlessly for her return. But I had no idea I was in for such a sweet treat! When Tracey arrived, she really took the time to get to know all about me. Before I knew it, she had me eating treats out of her hand and playing harder than I have ever played in my life! She came twice a day, fed me at my regular meal times and even let me go outside as that's what I am accustomed to. She always made sure I was safely tucked in for the night before leaving. And she never forgot a good chin rub when saying goodbye. I never had a chance to get lonely, and before I knew it, my sweet dear Angela was home! I hope Tracey, with Happy Tails, can come back and keep me happy (and out of mischief) when I have to be on my own again.
